Duke Energy has about 4,000 reported power outages in Greenville County on Thursday morning.
According to their website, 333 power outages have been reported in the downtown area. Nearly 1500 outages have been reported near the Fountain Inn area.
No reason was given for the outages, but they outages come for powerful winds swept through the Upstate early Thursday morning.Power is expected to be restored for most customers by 10:45 a.m.
There are approximately 1,100 total outages reported in Anderson County.
