A major fire broke out at the third floor of the Rohini court Complex on Thursday morning. The fire department pressed in nine fire tenders to douse the flames.

The incident took place at around 9.30am when some staffers of the court had reached the premises. The fire broke out at the third floor record room and Room and spread to the adjacent rooms.

The fire brigade quickly came to the rescue to bring the situation under control. According to fire officials, no casualties were reported.

Earlier, in March 2019, a fire broke out inside the canteen on the twelfth floor of the lawyers' chamber of the Rohini District Court complex. The fire was reportedly caused by a short circuit.

Delhi Fire Service Director Atul Garg said that the fire was reported at 9.41 am, after which 10 fire tenders were sent to the spot.

He said that the fire has been controlled.

The cause of the fire is being ascertained.
