The 44-year-old, who rose to fame on the reality show True Life, was found irresponsible in his bed on Saturday.
reports that he was last seen at around 2am on Saturday and that law enforcement found him unresponsive in his bed at around 9pm.Paramedics rushed to the scene, but Charlie was pronounced dead.The stars mum told the US site that her son had died unexpectedly as he didn't have any kind of sickness.
She also said that the last thing he told her was that he was happy to have his sons, who are aged 19 and 17.
Charlie was known as a trailblazer in reality TV.Back in 2001, he let MTV cameras follow him for four months before he got married to his wife Sabrina for show True Life: I'm Getting Married.It resulted in one of the most infamous rants ever filmed for reality TV.
