Teenager shot dead with crossbow outside ALDI store in Bowel, Ipswich

A teenage girl has been rushed to hospital after reportedly being shot with a crossbow outside a Queensland ALDI store.
Police were called to the supermarket at Booval, Ipswich, on Tuesday afternoon after reports of an incident.
Queensland Police says the man was spotted walking down South Station Road discharging arrows just after 4.30pm.
Police have arrested a man after he walked into an Ipswich supermarket with a loaded crossbow, firing arrows and wounding a teenage girl.
Emergency services remain on the scene at the Aldi store on South Station Road in Booval after first fielding calls about 4.30pm on Tuesday.

The teenager received hand and abdominal wounds and was transported to the Queensland Children's Hospital in a stable condition, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said.
Initial investigations from police suggest the man was first seen walking down the road firing arrows before entering the store.
One witness, Michelle Woods, said the masked man had been armed with a crossbow that he appeared to raise at the car she was in.
"He had eyeballed us in the car - gave us this weird look - and sort of half lifted it up and we thought he was going to start shooting at the car," she said.
Crime scenes have been declared along the road and at the supermarket, with traffic diversions in place.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed or have footage of the incident to come forward.
She has been taken to Queensland Children’s Hospital.
A man was arrested at the scene.
