GTA 5 Epic Games Grand Theft Auto V available free for PC on Epic Store rumour

The Grand Theft Auto franchise has some good news for gaming enthusiasts. According to media reports, Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) will soon be available on PC for free.

Media reports, first appearing in Gamepressure, said that GTA V will be available for free at the Epic Games store between 14 May and 21 May.

Grand Theft Auto V was the fifth installment of the 16-year-old game since its release in 2008. It was released in September 2013 and has since been launched by over 100 million gaming enthusiasts.

Reuters reports, quoting estimates from some analysts, previously said that it had taken more than five years for Take-Two to be developed by Rockstar Games Studios at a cost of $ 200 million and $ 250 million.

The Grand Theft Auto franchise allows players to cruise around a makeup game world based on real-life locations such as Los Angeles.GTA V was heavily debated over adult content and violence, but it received strong reviews and, as Reuters reported, raised $ 800 million in first-day sales.

However, video games have faced stiff competition in recent times from increasingly popular, free-to-play online games such as Fortnite and Player Unoid's Battleground.

GTA 5 is being made available at this week's Epic Games Store. And while Epic Games has not revealed anything about its plans so far, they have provided a countdown to when its next free download will take place.

The Countdown of the Epic Games Store is set to end at 4pm, GMT, and we should find out if this latest report is true.

A surprising rumor has surfaced this week that showcases GTA 5 and GTA Online as the next free download on the Epic Games store.

The title of the popular Rockstar Games was recently dropped Xbox Game Pass and featured last year as a PlayStation Now game.

And it's interesting to note that GTA 5 went from being available directly on PS Now to Game Pass, leaving just the PC platform without a subscription option.

And this week has seen a new rumored surface suggesting that PC gamers will get a better one and get titles for free.

Epic Games Store, spanning the Indie genre for games such as World War Z, has been offering free PC titles since its launch.

And the next one to be announced is overdue, with Epic Games listing its next free title as "Mystery Games".

This is happening on May 14, 2020, at around 5pm GMT, which is producing some of the epic games that are apparently about Epic Games.

With a countdown and a mystery game placeholder, it would make sense that it would be a big game.

But there are no official indications from Epic Games that they are about to launch GTA 5 as a free download.

It comes from a different source, with GamePressure claiming that they were given information from an anonymous, but very well-informed source.

The site reports that GTA 5 will be available for free download from the Epic Games Store from 14 May to 21 May.

It will reportedly include a premium version of GTA 5, which usually comes with the Criminal Enterprise Starter Pack.

Grand Theft Auto V: Premium Online Edition includes the full Grand Theft Auto V story experience, the ever-evolving Grand Theft Auto Online and all current gameplay upgrades and content including doomsday heist, gunning, smuggler runs, bakers and more. More, the official Rockstar Games description reads.
