Kate Hudson may have 'completely' mixed with Jimmy Fallon in her youth if she ever really turned up on him, she revealed in an episode of The Show on Monday night. Kate Hudson joined The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon from quarantine Monday night where the two reminisce about making the 2000 blockbuster movie Almost Famous. Hudson mentioned that some relationships came out of it, which led to her bringing up a clip from The Tonight Show from 2018 in which Fallon admitted he thought he could have dated Hudson.
Fallon was instantly flustered. But back in 2000, Jimmy and Kate were just a couple of pals shooting the film Almost Famous and 'hanging out all the time.'
Jimmy, 45, admitted she was interested in her, but took her to a comedy show where she met her future husband, 53-year-old Black Crow singer Robinson. The two divorced in October 2007 after their son, Ryder Robinson, was 16.
In the clip, which Hudson said “a hundred people” sent to her, Fallon was playing Loaded Questions with Margot Robbie. The question was, “Do you have a co-star you thought you could have dated but didn’t?” Fallon answered Kate Hudson. Hudson said she had no idea because Fallon never gave any indication, but it turns out, he was right.
Each of them secretly thought about dating each other, though they never discussed it, and Kate said that she would have been on board with it if she had asked.
“If you would have actually made a move, I would have totally gone there,” Hudson told Fallon, who replied, “No you wouldn’t have.” “Yes, of course,” Hudson said.
“I remember thinking to myself, like, ‘Why has Jimmy never made a move?’ And then I just kind of realized, like, ‘Oh, well he’s not into me like that.’
'If you would have actually made a move, I would have totally gone there,' the actress, 41, told her friend of 20 years, who interviewed her remotely as she quarantined in Los Angeles.

'That's not the story at all,' Jimmy protested. 'Oh my gosh.'
“I was a single girl and I was in New York, and life was what it was,” Hudson said. “If you would have been like, ‘Hey.’ Like—ya know, who knows? Who knows? Our whole life [trajectory] could have been different, Jimmy.” Fallon, who is currently quarantined with the previously mentioned wife and children, had the perfect response, saying, “Everything turned out perfect.”
Hudson agreed, saying, “Exactly the way it was supposed to.”
As they close, Jimmy tells Kate that they still have a piece of a wall that they would put in graffiti back in the day."And one day I will do that, and you will find your pictures, and we will show them to each other," he said, promising not to be 'super embarrassed' to see each other again.
As part of Jimmy's call to have his guests highlight a favorite charity, Kate spoke about the UN's World Food Programme, for which she was a global ambassador.
'In 2019, they were feeding up to 100 million people,' she noted. 'After COVID-19, we're looking at about a quarter of a billion people worldwide. It's true famine proportions. Biblical proportions.'
