Colton Underwood Hike With Lucy Hale After Cassie Dating
A shocking surprise for all of you: Colton Underwood and Lucy Hale are reportedly dating.
This Friday, TMZ posted a photo of the two on a hike together in Los Angeles, reporting that Hale reached out to Underwood shortly after his breakup with The Bachelor's Cassie Randolph. TMZ reports the two "have been seeing each other a lot" and have been on several "casual hike dates" over the past few weeks.
The news comes shortly after Us Weekly reports that Underwood is moving as much as he can from his relationship with Randolph. There is no chance that Colton and Cassie will get back together, a source told Us Weekly.
The Bachelor couple confirmed the split in May, and at the time, each posted an explanation on Instagram. Randolph wrote: Colton and I have broken up, but have decided to remain part of each others lives. With all this we have gone through, we have a special bond that will always last. In his own post, Underwood said, Sometimes people are just there to be friends - and thats fine.
A few days after Randolph's interview, Underwood called his ex to appear on the show.
“When our relationship ended we agreed to handle things as privately as possible as we attempted to navigate our new relationship as friends,” he wrote via Instagram. “I chose to do that since we were living in this interim period, but obviously a lot changed this week.”
Randolph later accused Underwood of trying to monetize their breakup by writing an additional chapter about it in his memoir, The First Time. A rep for the former Bachelorette star told Us that Randolph’s accusations were “simply not true.”
However, the breakup has been a bit more drama-filled since those posts. Earlier this month, Randolph went on The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons—Ever! to talk with host Chris Harrison and later said she was frustrated the show edited the interview to make it look like she only spoke out her relationship, when in reality, she hadn't said much about it.
