Tyson, who reportedly turned down $ 20 million (£ 15.7m) to compete in a bare knock boxing match, has indicated that he may return to the ring after completing his training during lockdown. Over the past few months, Tyson has been releasing various training videos and has repeatedly expressed his desire to return to the ring at exhibition matches to raise money for the charity.Tyson, 54, has been inactive since 2005, when he was stopped by traveler Kevin McBride.
We're told the fight will take place in California -- and will be sanctioned by the California State Athletic Commission.The event will include an undercard and live musical performances from top artists -- and since Tiller is backed by big stars like Snoop, Lil Wayne, Future, The Weeknd, Pitbull, Marshmello and more -- the entertainment should be pretty solid!
The 54-year-old former undisputed heavyweight world champion is said to be eyeing a trilogy with Evander Holyfield but there has been no confirmation on a potential fight between the pair. Jones, who once captured the heavyweight title in 2004, was last seen in the ring in 2018.
Tyson is yet to hint at his first performance opponent.
They have no shortage of interested parties - fighters like Evander Holyfield, James Toney, Riddick Bowe and Shannon Briggs raise their hands.
If an offer was placed on the table, Jones would also extend his hand.
"Yes, it's true - Mike is a legend. It would be crazy to get into the ring with him and receive an offer to refuse," Jones told report.
Jones Jr., now retired in 2018, has said that he will be ready to return for a match with Iron Mike.'I had no intention of going again and fighting again, but for Mike Tyson, I agree to make an exception.
"I had no intention of going back and fighting again but, for the sake of Mike Tyson, I agree to make an exception. For me, this is an opportunity that I cannot refuse. Of all those who wanted to go into the ring with him, he chose me. And since he did that, how can I say no?"In a past interview, former two division champion Andre Ward has claimed that Jones rejected an offer of $40 million to fight Tyson in 2003.
There was a Tyson fight on the table and I believe Im accurate when I say that it was somewhere around $40 million guaranteed, Ward told JRE Clips.There was an upside too. You stay at heavyweight, keep the weight on, and Tyson wasnt quite Tyson at that time. He was still dangerous but he wasnt quite Tyson. I think they were working towards it. What I heard was Roy wanted more money.

Jones, now 51 years old, runs a combat school in Moscow and has not competed as a heavyweight since losing his belt to Antonio Tarver in 2004 and retired as a cruiserweight after 14 years.
Tyson has been inactive since 2005, but offers have not been lacking since news of his possible comeback earlier this year.
